Default lightweight rear brakes question

do replacing rear brakes in the rear with lightweight brakes increase et. I was thinking less rotation mass will increase et but let me know asap please

I would think so....what's the weight difference from your run of the mill pads vs. The lightweights? Jus curious now

Reducing unsprung weight will alter your handling. That may or may not equate to a lower et.

Reducing the overall weight of the car may or may not equate to a lower et. It could even make you slower, depending on where you need or don't need the weight.

Rotational mass has a greater effect with a longer stroke (distance from center of rotation). Brakes having a very short stroke will have a small effect in this area.

It will however drop static weight. Might improve stopping ability. Will definitely affect handling.
