Default Brake pedal is low after flush

I had the brake fluid in my Z28 flushed yesterday at a garage. When I got the car back the pedal seemed a bit lower than before- it moves about 2" or so from the top before any braking happens. Naturally I suspect air in the system, but pumping the pedal doesn't bring it up any higher, and aside from the longer travel, it doesn't really feel spongy. Also, unless they let the MC go dry, a simple flush shouldn't have introduced any air into the system. The brakes appear to work fine otherwise, as I was able to trigger ABS on dry pavement.

Any suggestions? How far does your pedal move before the brakes start to engage?

You probably just have some air in the lines, and they need bled.

Replaced my Rotors and flushed the entire system and repainted my calipers.... took about 4 trips around the car to get them bled all the way.... start at the passenger rear going to the next closest until you reach the Drivers side front and keep rotating until you get good pedal feel....

I've never bled a car with ABS before. Is it any different than one with regular brakes?

You might need to go to the dealer to get the abs module bled. They have a machine that can do that (I think its called a TechII).
