Redundant but necessary shocks and springs question
so ive searched and search and searched some more and finally narrowed my opinions down to 3 springs and 2* shocks
1)strano springs
pros: great handling, already have a set in my garage
cons: fronts tend to sit higher and never settle
2)vogtland springs
pros: cheap, nice stance
cons: havent heard much about them
3)bmr springs
pros: great drop and great handling and reputable
cons: none i am aware of
1)bilstein hd springs
pros: cheap, nice middle ground for competition/dd
cons: not adjustable (but revalvable)
2) Koni
pros: great for road race, adjustable
cons: expensive, "harsher riding," our outrageous pricing
3)bilsteins up front, koni on car adjustable on rear
pros: cheaper, better riding, better handling, semi adjustable
cons: some say mixing shocks are a bad thing
im leaning towards the stranos since i already have them and getting bilsteins with on car adjustable konis on the rear.
but anyone with an opinion please chime in

Strano/Bilstein is a great combo. Almost as good as Strano/Koni combo. As far as Bilstein's in front and Koni's in the rear, I don't see a problem with it. It wont be as good as Koni's all the way around though.

The other reason why people opt for Koni with Strano besides the adjustability is because the spring rate of the Strano's will severely limit the life of a Bilstein shock. The Bilstein shock was not made for a performance spring but for a stock spring. Koni can support the higher spring rates and the Konis come with a lifetime warranty.

Yeah. I see people run bilstein for 50 -100k miles tho. I put maybe 15k miles a year. So i feel as if the bilsteins would get their moneys worth.
I just wonder though. I maight sell my stranos and get so vogtland just to try something different
