Default Weld in sub frame connectors. What to put on the welded area after?

So i just put some bmr weld in sub frame connectors on my 01 ss and i was wondering what you guys have put on the area that you welded them in at since you have to take the paint off the sub frame and the powder coating off the connectors to weld them. I was thinking of using some etching primer and then just putting some undercoating over the top of the but i wanted to see what some other people have done.

Thanks

The underside of my car is black, so all I used was a spray can of some Rust-Oleom Black Enamel.

We wire wheel it after welding and use Rust-oleom in a can with a brush usually.

I used Rust-Oleum Stop Rust enamel on mine. So far, so good.
