It tightens up the suspension a bit, but it's noisier than all hell
The only rubber bushings left on mine are then front upper a-arms, but those just got replace with poly.
I street drove it alot with just the rear suspension having rod ends. Noisy, but no adverse effects i ever found.

It would depend upon the quality of the rod end as to the amount of noise increase one gets.
I have LGM rod end lower A-Arms, LCAs and PHB ... the ride is more solid and not a tremendous increase in interior noise. My Bridgestone tires are louder than any of my chassis parts.
By solid I mean you do feel more of the road through the steering wheel and the seat of your pants. The stock rubber bushings are soft enough to absorb the small "shocks" found on the road.

What kind of noise are you talking about? Every crack and bump in the road making noise inside the car? I ride with a loud exhaust, loud stereo, and windows down. Noise doesn't mean much to me. Now the front suspension, you are saying that a bump would try to rip the steering wheel from my hand with solid bearing in the a-arms? What about with a manual steering rack? I was thinking about a fully tubular k-member, a-arms and manual steering to reduce some weight off the nose and everything is solid. I would like car to handle on the street as well as drags. Am I asking too much?

I have the complete front end as you talk about and it handles great!!!! Noise will not be an issue for you as it depends on what rod ends you go with. Ours are teflon lined and are coated so they will not rust!!! The is a pic in one of the threads I started down the page!!!!
