Installed new bilstein shocks/stuts now the front end is lower
Like title says, installed new shocks and the front end seems to sit lower than before, stock springs with bilstein shocks.
Any help on why this is it is this normal?

Maybe 1/2" to a inch lower. I'll get pictures later.
But I had the suspension guy at my shop install them so I'm assuming he did that. He said the lip on the new struts were slightly lower than the oe decarbons
I'll check when I get home.

Here's the best pic I could get to try and explain it.
The front wheels sat at the same level as the rears but now they are really in the wheel well.
Ideas?

The perch height on Bilstein is supposed to be the exact same height as OE. If the car rides good I guess you could look at it as not having to buy lowering springs and just hose mod the rear to level it out.

that "perch" is totally upside down
you have two options:
1) claim it was intentional, name the mod what you like, and be ls1tech famous for figuring out a way to lower the car a bit without Koni SA's on the lower perch (joke..for now, unless it works out in which case I claim 50% of naming rights!)
2) drive/tow it straight back and have it fixed before the perch slips past the snap ring and drops your suspension unexpectedly leaving you riding on your bumpstops. I don't know for a fact that it will, but the mount was designed to mount completely inverted. also the "lip" that is now on the bottom is supposed to hold the lower plastic spring seat in position. many cars don't have that, I know trailblazers actually mount very similarly to that because I wondered if any other cars had a lower perch that could be used to give a small drop (TB shocks are same diameter, but would be way too large of a drop) but I never thought of just flipping it over! I would mainly worry about the perch slipping crooked. It has an abrupt lip on the bottom that the ring sits in. Now it has a taper over the ring, so if you slam into the bumpstop and one side of the ring slips into that taper your spring seat is no longer level, and you have no lip holding the lower spring seat in place anymore to begin with. I would be careful.
this is the correct orientation (stole this from another thread):
whoever installed it thought it was like on a trailblazer for instance, where the "perch" sits lower than the snap ring:

Spring seat mod. This is too funny. You have to admit, though the extreme stupidity required to do something like this, even if you've never worked on an F-body before.
