Right now we run Moog and have had good luck with them for a few events. We are working with Hoosier as well on using their new hubs.
We are also having our power steering rack rebuilt and a new Turn One pump coming soon.
Also need to work on the transmission and the rear end this year to make it bullet proof.

I've heard Moog has a little better luck than Timken and SKF for some reason. Hoosier has some amazing custom stuff, I raced against these guys and they made my setup look like dirt. Incredibly nice people as well, their shop isn't 10 minutes from where I go to school and I could walk right in and ask questions. I'd definitely look into the custom products they make, a little pricey IMO, but ya gotta pay to play

Been using this setup for 2 years now. I have one of the earlier sets. It's awesome, hubs last forever. Proven on any track driven corvette. We also used the x-trackers on the old Grand Am/PWC corvettes with zero issues. I was previously chewing through 3-4 sets a summer. Cheaper than the Hoosier hubs.

But the SKF race hubs aren't an f-body fitment, they are a Corvette which is 3 bolts vs. the F-body square flange.
I carry and use the SKF race stuff on my Z06, but it's not a fit for the F-cars. Which is why we also carry the Hoosier Performance Engineering hub set too.

No, they didn't. The HPE ones are a spindle that uses actual wheel bearings and a custom hub (and it retains ABS too). They aren't cheap, but you can see why when you look at them.

Yeah, not sure which of the OE style replacements Boss002 was using, but his hub completely separated at an event, sending the wheel, caliper and part of the hub off into the paddock.
Are these ESP legal now or is it just a "Run it until somebody bitches about it" move? I vaguely remember seeing a post on FRRAX about trying to get a letter drafted up to protest it an allow us to use aftermarket hubs without a penalty since they aren't lighter or change the geometry of the suspension and it's a safety issue.

What do you current wheels weigh? Those are right about 22 pounds in that size.

Isn't there someone (forgot his name/username) on frrax.com machining up conversion adapters so that we can use the above SKF Vette 'race' hubs on our cars' spindles??

No idea, I don't go over there anymore. But the SKF stuff plus adapters while cheaper to start are also not serviceable so the next time you end up at like costs, and the 3rd time you are just spending more.

Looks like the hub's are 350 each and both adapters are 450, if you are able to get the guy to make another batch that is. So total cost is 1150 for the C5 hubs with adapter brackets. Or 1400 for the Hoosier PE 4th gen hubs.
