Default Any tips to get the ET 275 Pros to work with my suspension.

I've been running a 28x10.5 ET drag. Just curious if you guys think I'd be wasting my time trying the newer ET 275 radials? I have single adjustable QA1s all the way around, UMI T/A, single adjustable LCAs, spohn drag sway bar. Car makes 875 right now. Have 3:73 gears and a th400. Think I can get them to work leaving @ 5k with a procharger?

If you are switching from a bias ply to a radial, you will need to change up your shock settings a little and may need to take some anti-squat out of the rear. The radials will hit alot harder and tend to bring the front end up faster than a bias ply. Try tightening up the front shocks so it doesn't come up as fast, and loosening the compression on the rear shocks to help the suspension absorb the shock that the tire used to

As Zack said the power management will be the most important thing to focus on here, but there are a few upgrades to the equipment you have that will make things much easier.

When you purchase shocks get them from a reputable shop that works with the fastest stock suspension radial f-bodies in the country... MWC. Take what you hear here with a grain of salt... info may not be correct. Trust the people with proven performance!

MWC has the guaranteed lowest prices on any suspension component and the best tech help available.

Just curious also, what do you mainly do with the car? Is it strictly a drag car, or do you street drive it still as well? What some people may suggest will work for an all out drag car, but for most people who enjoy a double duty car, there are a lot of variables. Before throwing more parts at the car, try dialing in what you have. What may be the best for a dedicated track car, may not be a good option for the street. You have to weigh out how you use the car

The car does see the street on occasion when I have time to take it out. I put some travel limiters out. May try 50/50 on the fronts with 3" of travel on the limiters and 3 from full loose in the rear and launch it at 3800 an see how it does.

Let us know how it goes! I also may suggest to keep a log book to keep changes recorded so you can see what the results are from your changes. A respectable weather station, temp gun, and either good video or a knowledgeable helper will yield quicker gains.
