Default Shocks for lowering springs...

I have Hyperco lowering springs on my car. I have KYB 8 way adjustables on the front (don't really like them) and Monroe sensa-traks on rear.

I wondered if I could by a regular shock but a smaller size that is better suited for my reduced suspension travel.
What are the ways to measure and such?

I got hypercos too, I'm still using the stock DeCarbons and they are doin ok...Wouldnt mind knowing what the best shock for up front would be, I was thinking Bilsteins, but my budegt exceedes them at the moment, tryin to make more power in the meantime.
