Stainless hard line questions??? Line Lock? Strange 12 Bolt? Best vendor?
I'm replacing my hard lines with stainless ones as I upgrade my car. It is an 02 WS6 without traction control. I have a strange 12 bolt I'm putting in that is 1.5" narrower per side (stock 82-92 width). It uses OEM axle tubes. Would I need to order ones for a 92 model with rear disc or do I need to order custom ones that are 98-02, just 1.5" shorter?
Also I want to install a line lock kit. Does anyone make one with stainless lines?
What are the best vendors to use when it comes to stainless hard lines for our cars? From what I've searched...stay away from inline tube. Classic tube seems to have a good rep. Anyone have any feedback on them?

Here's a link to my Strange 12-Bolt from when I was rebuilding it. Then I put up three pics of it before I put it back in the car.

I do wish mine used the fabricated axle tubes and mounts and perches like the Moser did...but I couldn't beat the deal at the time and I wasn't gonna take a chance getting screwed by KTRE. Also I liked how strange used OEM style Torque Arm bolts in their design.
Besides...the axle tube diameter is not the problem with the 3/4gen 12 bolt rears. Had I known that the torque arm is not good for a 12 bolt when any decent power is involved...I'd have waited for the S60 or gone with a Fabricated 9". Nobody had the case distortion figured out yet...and I was going for the least parasitic HP loss. Lessons learned...

I back my statements up...or I put them in question form. Too much misinformation on here and in general. Be part of the solution...not the problem.

i ordered from inlinetube for my truck, had no problems. what/where did you hear about inlinetube?
for the shorter axle tubes, why not just bend an oem length hard line a little to take up 1.5" of extra distance along the axle tube? no one is going to have on hand an f-body hard line that is 1.5" shorter, that would be a custom made line. the extra 1.5" of line length would hardly be noticeable. order hard line replacement for a 2002, you need to specify no traction control since i believe it's only one hard line from the abs block to the rear and there is a T fitting on the rear that splits it to each rear caliper.

Great, so how long did Strange pull this mess with their 12 bolts before getting their head out of their ***? If they aint been built that way in nearly 10 years, that would make yours the minority.

I have no clue. On par with everything else involving my car or house though...
strange put their ends on it. My brakes bolt on fine. No c clips either.
