Default Need help with noise on front end

I'm getting some squiking noise when i push down on front fenders or when i hit a bump could that be from a bad shock?

I had to lube my front swaybar bushings to stop a squeak similar to yours.

It could be any number of things, since there are several "movable" parts on each side of the car. As "JB" already said, it could be the sway bar bushings, as well as the sway bar end links. It could also be a bad bushing in either the upper or lower a-arms, or as you suspect, a bad shock.

A lot of it depends on the mileage on the car, as well as the conditions it was driven in, such as winter weather, or a lot of rainy weather. What you need to do, is get a second person to push up and down on the car, as you crawl underneath and listen for noises.
