IRS to 9 inch questions I'm in the process of putting a 9 inch under my 04 GTO, all the IRS is already off and sold for the most part, and I am picking up the housing soon. I'm basically making a narrowed Fbody Moser 9 inch work under there using the panhard bar, LCA brackets etc.
For the LCA brackets, they are 45" from each other on the housing, center to center. And I want to put the chassis LCA boxes under my car on the frame rails, which are 35" apart. So If I were to do this, the LCAs would point in toward each other at an angle, binding shouldn't be an issue since ill be using MWC arms with rod ends on them. Is there any problem doing this? Would it be better to mount the chassis LCA boxes outside the frame rails to keep them parallel?
