I know I know ... it's 20 years older than my `99 LS1 .. but this place is the best for answers.

I swapped the steering gearbox in my `79 and now it pulls hard left. Nothing else changed except redoing my rag joint.

Does it sound like an internal valve issue?

what did the new steering box come out of?

Was the length of the pittman arm on the replacement box, the same as the one you took off?
