Bad brake booster or not? Hey, I am not sure if my brake booster is bad in the TA. I replaced it with one from the V6 car I have. Acts the same. It may be working, I dunno.
Brakes the car fine. Not hard to stop the car at all. But when you start the car, there is no drop to the brake pedal. I thought the car didn't brake as well as it should, and with the pedal not dropping, that the booster must be bad.
I changed the check valve and checked for vacuum at the booster hose. That's all good.
Does your cars brake pedal drop when you start the car? Maybe I'm just due for some new calipers and brake hoses. Thanks a lot
BTW, V6 car isn't running so I didn't get a chance to see how those brakes worked.
