First, I would like to identify where your clunking is coming from. With everything installed correctly and tight, there should be no noises from either system. This new style torque arm will transmit less NVH into the cabin of the car so road noise will be less noticeable than a track pack. But for a high-horsepower, drag race oriented setup I would still recommend a track-pak.

Considering this for my car. Its a 93z w a Quick Performance 9in rear end. Will I run into any mounting problems or interference?
Its a 700rw car that will see et street tires and hard launches at the track.

No, I have several customers running this arm with a QP 9". To get optimal clearance, I do recommend some trimming of the bracket of both the torque arm and the QP mount. This tucks the arm in tighter and away from the tunnel. I have pictures of how this is done if needed I can send you

Thank you for the reply. This is the answer I was looking for. I believed I would run into obstacles. But was hoping I wouldn't have to chop and weld.to make fit. I got no prob grinding for clearance. If necessary

How much more NVH would this short arm have over a long arm/relocation kit have?

NVH with this kit is very comparable to that of an aftermarket full length arm and relocation crossmember. It does not have the typical issues associated with a tunnel mounted torque arm

I believe it will. Here are some pics of our setup with a typical long rube header/y pipe combo to give you an idea what the relation will be to compare to your setup
