Default where to buy bump stops???

I was wondering where you guys/girls get your bump stops from? My rear axle ones are DESTROYED. I'm looking into buying poly ones due to being lowered on strano springs and koni shocks. Thank you

Also look for ones off 3rd gen cars at junk yards. They fit right up and are made out of rubber instead of foam.

Good advise. I have 3rd gen stops on my car, they still look new and bolted right up.

I also read a while back about some Energy Suspension ones for a Jeep that you an pick up at the auto parts store and simply grind the bracket a little and they'll work fine too.

X3. GM tried to say that they used the exact same material for the third gen bump stops for the fourth gens. Let's just see shall we?

Up first:

Looks like crap. Pretty torn up. How do the bump stops look?

Not bad. Let's move on to another third gen in the yard:

Ooooh. Not pretty, but how about those bump stops?

Damn, not bad! They held up better than the car did! Ok, so what about a typical fourth gen?

Ouch, that Camaro sure has seen better days. Let's see those bump stops!

Typical. "Same material used" my butt.

Moral of the story: Go snag some bump stops off of a third gen and never worry about them again.

The bump stops on my TA were disintegrated so I used the information from this thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/suspensio...tops-10-a.html

Works fine.

I just got some 3rd gen bump stops at my local junk yard. There are 6 4th gens and all of the their bump stops are designated, and the one trashed out third gen had ones that were perfect.

This is what I used on my last car and they worked fine after a little work on them.

There we go. Nobody asked about 3rd gen rubber anything. Clearly stated poly. End thread.
