Default Koni and BMR combo couldn't be happier

Ride was getting pretty bad so I pulled the trigger on some Koni str.t shocks and struts along with some BMR drop springs. This made a night and day difference in the feel of the car and I couldn't be happier. I also achieved the stance I wanted, it doesn't look like a monster truck anymore. Before and after pics attached.

Holy 4x4 that had some serious lift before the BMR's. Man the lowering threads never get old though! Looks nice man, looks nice

Very nice! I'm currently looking to get that exact combo. I'm curious, does the front sit a tad lower than the rear?

I would say so, I haven't actually measured ground to fender, and the 315s might kick up the back just a hair. I like a little rake also but I'm extremely happy with the stance I achieved. You could always go back later and heater hose the spring to kick the back up a little more as well.

Wow that "before" picture can't be stock springs, can it? Never seen an Fbody that jacked up.

As somebody who still has stock everything, my F-body is also as jacked up as your "before" image. Hate it, but your pics give me some idea of what I should go with. Thx for the post.

Looks good with all the new parts installed. Man did your car sit super high before you installed our BMR lowering springs!

Our springs are gonna offer a slight rake just like the factory ones do. The nice thing is that you can do the heater hose mod on the rear of the car and get rid of the rake if you don't care for it.

Any issues with the install?

Did you end up replacing or upgrading anything else? Adjustable Panhard bar? Adjustable torque arm or relocation bracket? LCA relocation brackets?

I have an adjustable PHB and Koni yellow's ordered and already have the BMR lowering springs, will be doing my install in a month or so.

How's the ride quality?

Good questions following for the answers as I am considering this route too.

Looks like you're missing a bolt on one of your lower strut mounts...

I too recently installed the BMR's with the Bilstein HD's... I actually replaced the Eibach Pro Kit, which btw the car rode, drove horribly. As others have mentioned the BMR's were night and day... Car is rock solid, not creaks, squeaks, bottoming out. For the record, I am running BMR front/rear control arms (non adj), SFC's,Adj PHR, new, shaved bump stops.

Hey sorry for the late replies, college life what can I say lol. What you see is all I have for suspension mods at the moment but there's more in the future for sure. Ride quality is firm but not too harsh depending on the road it can get a bit bouncy, however I quite like it and it's a 100% improvement. Zero issues with the install, went very smooth. Main goal is not to kill yourself with the front springs lol that's the hardest part but no biggie.

Not to much I did roll the fenders when I put the new stuff on. All other work was done previously as they wouldn't fit initially at stock height. Cut out the bump stops and beat the hell out of the inner fender.

Nice. This is the combo i was looking for to put it in by 1995. Middle ground in between STOCK and Performane, but on the conservative side. How is the ride terms of confort ? Does it handle uneven streets kind of the same way the stock setup?

Thanks
