S60 and narrowed 3 per side brakes

Default S60 and narrowed 3 per side brakes

Well I was not informed well lack of research on my part I guess. But ordered s60 for lt1 camaro 3 inches per side and left rear caliper will not even come close. Options please?

LS1 brake swap if you plan to keep it on the street, otherwise you can do drag brakes. LS1 brakes move the caliper fwd of the axle so no problems hitting the phb bracket.

Not a street car more of a very limited use fun car and with see track use. The funny thing is I feel lt1 brakes don't really do much had the car for 28000 miles and rear pads are petty much same thickness as when I bought the car
LS brake conversion may cost more then a drag setup?

I wouldn't think they would cost more if you can Find some decent used stuff. I seriously contemplated drag brakes too but they aren't good for street running. They do better with one long hard stop and then a cool down. Street driving and braking will cause bad brake fade according to people smarter than myself.

It's only a couple hundred bucks for a complete set of ls1 rear brakes- you may find used strange rears for around $500 not sure what other brands offer a "drag" brake

New strange are only 468 I'd hope used would be in the 300 range
