Default Panhard relocation on a lowered car?

In trying to find out if I can get true duals, I have seen that I will need to get a panhard relocation kit, which is no big deal. On the other hand, don't you need an adjustable PHB for lowered cars? Mine is lowered 1.5" if I am to believe the previous owner. Will a plain PHB relocation work, or do I need something more robust?

still should get an adjustable unit.. only thing a panhard relocation kit does is replace the upper brace with a curved unit so two exhaust pipes can be routed over the axle and drops the mounting point of the panhard itself lower.

I think I see where I got confused. So the relocation kit is not a curved bar, but an additional support for the bar I have, right?

The relocation kit replaces the top panhard bar support completely and has a step/curve in it to make room for dual over the axle pipes. So yes, you throw the stock stamped piece of garbage in the trash and replace it completely with the panhard relocation kit. Everyone suggests using an adjustable panhard bar but you can get away with a non adjustable. In my case, I bought a Founders non adjustable panhard bar and am about to order the relocation kit from them as well so I can run a single 4" exhaust up and over the rear end.

Yes, you need an adjustable panhard bar for a lowered car, and it is recommended for use with the relocation kit as well. When you combine the 2 together, it is very highly recommended
