everything has been realigned properly and its still at the same height. The only thing it can be at this point is the springs which i believe are sone aftermarket replacements based on other threads i have seen with people having similar issues. I just bought another set of stockers so i will see if they drop it down like i believe they should

Well got some springs that i knew were stock and put them on snd the car is definitely sitting at least a 1/2 inch lower and i havent even really driven the car around yet. Deffinitely is a major difference as you can see in the pics..the left is with the other springs the right is after

Most cars there are multiple part numbers to cover different engine and equipment combinations,, but the aftermarket guys tend to pick 1 and thats it..
The springs on a 2014 Silverado are significantly different between the 4.3 and the 6.0... (Only GM I played with lately... ) On my friends truck I had to go to the spring shop and have a custom set wound up.. The 4.3 V6 ones bottomed out too easy with a 6.0 iron block and other toys in the front....

I seem to have a similar issue as the OP... I just installed Koni STR.R shocks and the 1LE front springs- I believe the GM PN shows them to be for a LT1 car and mine is a 2002 Firehawk. I paid attention to the isolators and aligned them properly and my car rides an 1" higher now. The 1LE springs are MUCH stiffer than what was one it before, I weigh 210 and I moved them only slightly, ~.125". They are supposed to be 360#/in and I think they are at least that. I tightened the sway bar, 32mm, end links with no weight on the wheels, so I can loosen that and re-do it with weight on the front but, I find it had to believe that would make a difference.
Question- is the rule of thumb for cutting springs that if I want a 1" drop, I remove 1/2" of length from the spring?
Thank you,

1LE springs are 360, stock LT1 cars had 310's and LS1 cars had 292's. BUT all had different free lengths.
In short you can't change to springs that aren't a known commodity and not expect a height change. 1LE's ALWAYS sat high to start with.

It's a guess. The car drops about 1.7" for every 1" of spring you remove. But removing coils also makes the spring a little stiffer too. a .5" shortening of the spring would result in sommthing around .8" lower give or take due to the fact the rate will to up some with the trimming.

I don't mean to sound basic, but I have learned a lot of people lurk and read these things, so details matter. Not intended to tell you something you probably already know.
