Default V6 Front springs for an LS swap

99 Camaro Drag car only setup with all unessasary weight removed from the front. Would the V6 springs suffice? Too soft? too low?

98+ V6 springs are only ~250lb rate. Even for a drag setup that is awfully light...stock is 290 for the LS and most drag springs like QA1 and Eibach Drag Launch are 270-275#s and at that rate they recommend drag only cars with AC removed, lightweight hood, etc.

I would not even attempt a 250lb front spring with an LS1 even if it was a tubular support, fiberglass hood, lexan drag car.
