V6 Front springs for an LS swap 99 Camaro Drag car only setup with all unessasary weight removed from the front. Would the V6 springs suffice? Too soft? too low?

98+ V6 springs are only ~250lb rate. Even for a drag setup that is awfully light...stock is 290 for the LS and most drag springs like QA1 and Eibach Drag Launch are 270-275#s and at that rate they recommend drag only cars with AC removed, lightweight hood, etc.
I would not even attempt a 250lb front spring with an LS1 even if it was a tubular support, fiberglass hood, lexan drag car.
