Drag Race Springs

Im going to be installing my 9” Rear Axle this coming week. I figured I’d ask for suggestions for Rear Spring suggestions since it would be a good time to do it!

My Cat will only be driven at the strip!

Shocks would be a good suggestion too.

Most cars seem to work pretty well on stock springs.

90/10 front 50/50 rear is ideal.

How much power do you make? A good set of double adjustable shocks will do wonders. Springs not so much, they basically just hold the car up. As mentioned above, stockers work just fine. I use 3rd Gen V6 springs in the rear.

I run Viking double adjustable coilovers on my S60 rear end. The great thing about those shocks is you can adjust the shock settings for street, strip, or road course with just a few clicks.
