Default Ws6 suspension tuning help - Turbo

hey guys, just got my 99 ws6 up and going.
Here what the car has.
all stock up front suspension minus sway bar
8.8 rear with short tq arm
lcarbs bottom hole
pinion angle 1* down
viking double adjustable rear shocks
trans brake 4l80e with STOCK 4l80e converter
running 8# currently
Eta street r 28x10.50 on a 10” wheel
twin vs billet gt3582’s.

i can build 2# on the trans brake, let go and the nose comes up, car gets about 20’ out and the turbos are full spoiled to 8# and the tires start spinning.

compression 10 clicks from full soft, rebound 4 clicks from full soft. I believe to help this I should increase em the rebound resistance to store some of the extension energy longer? Thoughts?

I think that depends on the amount of deflection you have, I believe it’s set that way so that at Launvh the pinion comes to zero*. I could change it to 2 but I currently have zero vibration, I hate to touch it.

Nice car! Caveat: I am a novice and working on my own suspension issues.

1) What is the date on your rear tires? If too old they could be losing stickiness.
2) How much rear tire pressure?
3) Are your LCA's angled up slightly toward the front of the car? They generally should be.
4) What's your front suspension set up?

From the camera angle it's hard to see what the rear suspension is doing. It would be easier to see if the camera was slightly behind the car at an angle. However, looks like you're right about the rear rebound -- it needs to be stiffened-up. Maybe the compression too. If the rear angles are right, I think you want the distance between the rear fenders and tires to stay the same so the rear isn't moving up and down. I don't have near the power you do but I have my rears set a 12c/10r and could go stiffer on both. Also looks like you may need more stiffness on the front to keep it down and help with unloading when it does come down. But I would start with the rear and make one small adjustment at a time and test.
