Turn one steering pump
I installed a turn one power steering pump on my 2000 trans am. Bled the air and even used a vacuum pump to bleed air. When driving steering feels sluggish. Especially turning from a stop . Sometimes feels a little easier. Does anyone have similar steering feel? I know effort should be a little harder than stock pump. Air still trapped in system? Thanks

Moving to brakes and suspension.
This is how their performance pumps are built. When the engine is at low RPM, there will be less hydraulic assist and the steering will feel heavier. At higher RPMs, things should feel more normal.
TurnOne also does builds with the stock setup. This is the way I went with mine because I do a lot of City driving.

I had my first T1 pump for maybe a decade, then reservoir started leaking and I bought another a few years ago. The stiffness at parking lot speeds was minor until I converted my OEM PS lines to AN6, now in addition to it being a little more difficult to turn, it sometimes groans at me.This is with Jr's recommended reservoir fittings.

Just got T1 pump on a little while ago. Can feel a little more effort at low speeds but barely noticeable. Wondering if you also have an under drive crank pulley. Prolly makes it a bit worse.
