Hi - my rear suspension on my 77 Trans Am is just noisy. Maybe it’s just its old age but the suspension is largely relatively new (installed less than 10 years back with about 5K miles.

I noticed that the leaf spring pads (replaced 10 years back as well) look to be cracking. I’m assuming this could be part of my noise issues. Let me know if you think this is what they should look like after normal wear.




Also any suggestions on how to best lube the rear suspensions of these old cars?
