Unhappy Umm... Spring Compessor doesnt Fit on Hotchkis Springs...

I started my spring/shock install a couple hours ago and now came to a horrible halt. I have SLP Bilstein shocks and Hotchkis lowering springs. Well the spring compressor does not fit over the Hotchkis springs, so I can't compress them to get the damn nut on... Anyone know what to do? Thanks.

I noticed that when I attempted to do mine....I had to take them to a local shop and have them done...it saved me about two hours of hell anyway, so it was worth the $80.

The other thing you could do is look for a belt style spring compressor. The nylon belts will slip through the tighter springs.

Take the compressors apart and stick only the small block without the threaded shaft into the coil, some prying maybe needed. If all fails, just pry the coil open and hammer those ***** in.
