Torque Arms and LT's
 

Will any torque arms work w/ LTs and y-pipe. Because I saw that spohn sells one for LT's and y-pipe. Also what would you guys recommend for a torque arm. I decided to stop buying power mods becuase 1st gear is useless. No point in having power if you cant apply it to the ground.

Spohn's TA will work with any combo of LTs, Y & catback. It has a nice big area on the right side for the exhaust plumbing to go thru. I have two 2-1/2 in pipes snaked around it no problem.

But will any Torque Arm work w/ LT's and y-pipe?

Last year we installed an Edelbrock torque arm on my friends SS, this year ( more power ) he wanted to go with the Spohn so we installed it, no problems with the install and he also has SLP LT's.

Get the Spohn T/A with the dropped crossmember for y-pipe/LT Clearence. That's what I have got on my car.

I guess Spohn is the way to go.

I think most TA's that mount in the stock location will clear LT's and Y. I just read a thread about the Spohn TA made for LT's has scraping issues on "non-lowered" cars though...

Yeah I have also read that. Also I work at a speedshop and we guted a car today and it had huge dents in the center hump in between the rear seats where the TA smashes against the floor (From a Spohn Adj. TA). Anyone else have any problems like that? Or from any other TA?

I have Spohns TA, and Kooks LT's with 2.5" TD's...
Ground clearance has become a bit of a problem is my only complaint...
