WTF is a camber correction kit? are you saying it will fix negative/positive camber?

Kyle 01 T/A 10-18-2004 05:52 PM

yes, when i lowered my car the camber was all outta whack so i was told i need to get a camber correction kit by the guy that does all my alignments. any other input.

I am still lost at that link all I saw was A-arms and stuff! Do you mean Bump steer kit! You need one of those when you lower alot? What do these part look like or go?

He is thinking of 3rd gen camber plates. No, they don't work on a 4th gen. You should be able to adjust the car as it sits. You may need to run more negative camber (it will handle better that way), but it will align when lowered. My car, lowered nearly 2", aligned just fine at that height. I set it to -1.3 camber, 4.5 castor and 1/32" toe out. I'd shoot for -.7 camber, 4.5 caster and 0 toe for street use (I drive mine daily and get 30K out of front tires).

Have fun!

Thanks trackbird Now I understand!

Sounds like you should find a differant alignment shop that knows what they are talking about! :eyes:

Yeah dude they should be able to fix it with the stock stuff. I would recommend driving a few miles then getting it aligned to let the springs settle.
