Default Adjustable or non adjustable panhard?

I've read into it some...but didn't know what would be best for my setup. I've heard that the adjustable lca's can be an over kill for a daily car, but whats best for a phr? Spend the extra $30 and get the UMI single adjustable or just get the non.
Thanks
Alex

My factory panhard bar did not center my differential properly. It was approximately 3/16-1/4" off. With my adjustable PHB I was able to bring it in perfectly. Don't know if it will improve 60' or not but evenly spaced can't hurt either. If you are looking close enough might even look better centered.

I went with the non-adjustable for my daily car.

Might as well get the adjustable if you ever plan on changing your setup. Any amount of drop a adjustment is good, if you plan on keeping the stock ride hieght i would just get the non adjustable

I plan on going with non adj lca and one of the two adj panhard. Is the 130 one an overkill?

I plan on keeping my stock ride height: however, my rear is off center (shifted to the driver side) by about 1/2". Would an adj. PHR fix that? If so, then I'll be buying one in a few days. Any reply will help.

yes, the point of an ajustable panhard rod is to adjust the alignment of the rear end, most lowered cars need them because when you lower it, the bar pushes the rear outward. and you make the new rod adjuted to pull it back

Typically, one adjusts it once and done with it

A PHR is basically a tie rod - not really cutting edge technology. If I were you, I'd focus more on how its made than by whom its made.

Adjustable at the ENDS where the mounting locations are. The leverage is minimal on the joint ...

And Trackbird makes a good set (I have a set) ... so LG doesn't have a corner on that market.

That wasnt my point, sorry if it was misunderstood. I have nothing against a LG product all it was, was a sarcastic remark. It seems 90% of mitchntx's post are sarcastic so I thought I would jump in on the fun.

As for focus on HOW it was made, of course I do that, I know a quality item when I see it.

For something that requires adjustment I see no reason why it can't be adjusted on the car. No you wont do it often, but it will be less of a pain in the butt when you do have to do it.

I've owned my share of adjustable PHRs and all have had the jamnuts (adjustment if you will) at the outboard ends - as it should be. I've never had any problem adjusting them on the car.

The reason some of us like LG parts is because they happen to be one of the few vendors that build well-engineered and race-proven parts. There are certainly some other quality parts out there and you can always build your own to your specs. However, there are also many designs out there that are questionable from an engineering standpoint. Its one thing to get a good deal on a quality part, its yet another to get a cheap price on a cheap part.

Anyway, don't mind me. Several of us have gone down this path before and its kinda mind-numbing. Just consider it my .02 and move on.

I totally understand where you are coming from and I like you do not want a item on my car that is going to break, fail or not work correctly. I too have seen junk components as well as used them. I agree LG makes a quality item, but I guess my point was just because they do, doesnt mean others can't.

From the people that have tried new items and had experiences such as yourself you opinon is very important to newbies. However some opinions get expressed as my way or no way and I guess I felt it gets old...

But your comment was not taking harsh and I know where you are coming from
