Today installed bmr sfc tubular....
I had a muffler shop install the tubalor subframe connectors. And they charged me 90 bucks. The install took 30 minutes. If you have a welder I would weld them it looked easy to do, I thought it would take more tech know how but it is a simple install-weld procedure.
A few comments
1.) I now can't use my stock jack, on either rear lifting points. The sfc runs really close to the lift point. This problem is only with rear lift points -manul lift points.
2.) Their is an improvement I can take the corners faster. Cars feel more stable.
3.) Is it me or my car now kicks more? I swear I can feel a bit of a horsepower addition, Im thinking do to less drivetrain power loss. Who knows maybe its just me, but know I can spin the wheels easier especially on corners and yes, no fish taling added.
4.) My passenger door used to rattle, now no more rattles, very happy about that. edit: day 2 and door still rattles but a hair less.
5.) People talk about the bmr tubalor sfc not being viewable but I can see the rear part of sfc where it connects to the lower contral arm, but very little.
Overall very satisfied.
