Default Pics of my C5 brake conversion

Finally got some time this weekend to assemble all the parts. Just waiting for some Synthetic Brake Fluid to finish it up. Went together well. Those Bob Bishop brackets are some very nice pieces.

It took just a half a day. My 9 year old daughter helped me so we took our time. Now the stuff has been sitting on the bench since last fall. It could be done in a couple hours if you jump right in and don't take breaks.

Those are 2004 C5 rotors off my father's vette. I just painted the centers and had then turned. Once the water hits them, they won't be so shiney.

Looks good. I did the same thing but with the LG brackets and LG DBA gold rotors. It was a major improvement over stock.

Any one interested I have a pair of new Bob Bishop brackets and hardware for sale. ($300)
Just PM me and I will work out the details. These brackets are the only ones that will allow you to keep your LT1 spindles!

To my knowledge the LT1 and LS1 use the same Spindle?

The A-Arms are the same so I would assume the complete set up would be, someone correct me if I am wrong.

The LT1 and LS1 spindles ARE different. In 98, GM when to the floating caliper design so they went to a new spindle.

Ok Now I see it, they still bolt to the same A-arms just a different caliper design.

So by the way it looks, installing Bob Bishop brackets on a LT1 spindle would require some more cutting then the LS1 (98-02)
