Sway Bars? How big is TOO big?
I have a 99 ws6 (see sig) and I am considering either Sam Strano's sway bar pkg, that has a 35mm up front and a 21 or 22 (I can't remember) out back; or Suspension Techniques has a pkg, that has a 35mm up front and 25mm out back. Everyone says that since I have the ws6 pkg already that there is no point in upgrading to a 32mm up front because I already have one. My question is, is this too big? Of course, for the dragstrip I will take off the front bar, but it is my daily driver and I am hoping to tighten up the suspension all around. I never autocross it, but I thoroughly enjoy canyon carving and "having fun" on the street when it's safe. Any insight would be great.

The 35mm bar is excellent on these cars. The rear bar is a "tune to taste" deal. The 21mm 1LE or the hollow 22mm from Strano work very well on many cars, but it's up to the feel of the driver and the ultimate use and setup of the car as to what is best (on paper).
I have the ST 35/25 bars, I'm currently running an ST 35mm front with a stock rear, I'm going to add a 22mm hollow Strano bar on the rear when the weather gets nicer (it's in my garage, next to the 25mm rear bar that I had used).

I have a 35/25mm combo on my SS, and I really like it for driving around town. Getting poly/rod LCAs definitely helped make the bar not seem so big back there, but I would still say it is a bit much if you are going to be seeing a track much. I guess it all depends on how you feel about how your car handles...when I was running a 35/19 combo, I felt like the car was still wallowing around too much (maybe it is because I run a 400/125 front/rear spring combo). In went the 25mm, and out went the wallowing.

I am considering either the Eibach pro-kit or the BMR progressive rate springs. If I go with the 35/25 ST kit, which springs will go better for my daily driver?

Also, I just found out that Eibach makes a 35/25 kit. Has anyone tried this? I would think it would be designed around the pro-kit to some degree. Any input?

If the bars are similar size and shape (to fit our cars, they have to be quite close), they will have the same rate (or very nearly so). So, as long as you know they fit properly, you could buy the least expensive kit (if you want a 35/25).
I still think the 25mm rear bar is a little too much (and I have one).

I'm still using the stock springs with 110K miles on them. The bar combos I've tried:
stock - I don't remember. Haven't used completely stock swaybars since 1996
Addco 32/ Addco 25 both solid - rear end stays straight on hard launches, but too much oversteer in corners
ST 35/ Addco 25 both solid - still too much oversteer
ST 35/ OEM 19 - car pushes, rear end wiggles on hard launches
ST 35/ Addco22 both solid - car has controllable oversteer, rear slides a bit to the right on when tires are spinning
