Default Need help - my car is broken !

I need help identifying a problem - please bare with this

l almost hit a mail post this morning in my 1995 V6 Camaro (137,000 miles on the clock). I drove off my driveway and started driving on my street. It was snowing a little bit overnight and I felt that it's slippery. So I drove slowly 20mph through the complex. Suddenly my car goes sideways. I keep it cool, and I let go off the gas. But car doesn't even slow down. It must have been pure ice underneath. so the car goes exactly perpendicular to the sidewalk, HITS and goes over the curb, barely missing the mail post.

I got out just fine, drove all the way to work with multiple turns (about 5 miles), but at the end while I was turning right into my parking space I felt some "opposing force" in my tires.

Well, anyways, lunch comes, I got into the car and I try to back out, and I can't - It's stuck !
I got out, my left tire is straight, but my right one is almost sideways. And I was able to fix it straight by hand, so it's lose big time. and seems to be independent of an axle.

Do you guys think it's a broken tie rod, or busted ball joints ??
My ball joints were already lose, and I planned on fixing it in the spring....

Any Help would be very appreciated !

Thanks

I'm assuming you mean the front wheels. My guess would be tie rod.

Certainly sounds like a tie rod end.

I almost had to get my SS out of hibernation today too b/c my front brake caliper is siezed in the brake position on my DD 96 V6 camaro (116,000 miles on the clock). Got a ride to work from a friend though.
And we have another thing in common as I did almost the exact same thing as you last winter w/my 96. Hit a curb hard and luckily I think it just busted a rim & I think it bent the tie rod. Haven't fixed it yet but the alignment is bad & it's eating up my front tires now so I guess I need to get it fixed.

Good luck to ya!

adamss;
Know I understand why some of you put your Camaros in hibernation. Wish I had another Camaro. Off topic, I had planned on buying a chevy blazer for next rain season but now Im thinking of buying another Camaro. Good luck in getting your car fixed, looks like you maybe able to fix this yourself.

Um...nice rotors. I think it's about time to make paperweights out of those.

LOL - 10 yrs of frequent exposure to rain. snow, and salt will do that to any car. Whatever I can fix myself I'll will, but once it becomes to expensive I'm just gonna junk it. Afterall, how much 1995 Camaro V6 with 140,000 miles is worth in those days ? $1000 dollars ? :-)
