What springs for me?

What springs for me? I need some springs for my 2002 Z28, I want to lower the car about 1"-1.5", and need something for good traction on launch vs. handling. I run a drag wheel and tire setup 99% of the time, so handling is not a factor. What should I get? And what shocks? Or should I just go coil over? This is mostly a street car, sees the track occasionally.
