Default Braided brake line instead of stock?

Has anyone switched from stock to braided. I switched over to Strange brakes and manual brake kit. Nothing matched up so I tore all stock lines out. I was wondering if anyone has just used all braided lines?

Too expensive, no real benifits by doing so. Replace the stock lines everywhere with metal lines. If you want to replace the lines leading from the caliper to the metal line, that would be worthwhile.

Too much of a pain in the @$#! I would rather use braided. I think it would be easier to match up with all the fittings.
