Default Loud clunk in front end when braking

When I brake to come to a stop I hear a loud clunk from my driverside front end.
What could this be? A ball joint? Is it dangerous? That is my main concern.

Just jack one side up at atime and check for looseness and check your caliper bolts. Good luck!
