Basic settings for tubular front end?
I recently purchased a full BMR front suspension including K-member, and non adjustable upper and lower a-arms. I did as the instructions said and overlaid the new lower arms over the old ones, and adjusted the rear rod end to what I thought was the proper location. Is there a better way that I can get the rod end closer to the stock measurment? I tried measuring from the shock mount holes to the center of the rear bushing, but in order to get the correct measurment, I have to let the rod WAY out. Also after I do this, the rear bolt location is way off from where it was in the factory position. The instruction say to try and get as close to the stock bolt locations as possible, but I'm having mucho trouble trying to get there. Is there a better way to go about this? I really don't want to have the guy at the alighnment shop to have to take the suspension apart to adjust the rear rod end. Also, what are some good alighnment specs for straight line/drag racing? Thanks

After doing more measuring, I'm showing my front bushing to be a 1/2" off from where the factory one is. This would be one of the reasons I can not get the 2 to align when over lapping them, plus it won't allow them to be in the same bolt location as the factory marks. I've got a e-mail in to BMR, we'll see what they say. In the mean time, have any of you had a problem with BMR products being cut wrong, or having trouble getting them to align? Thanks

NEVER replace lowers AND uppers at the same time.
Do the lowers and get it aligned, then do the uppers and get it aligned.
Sometimes too much adjustability is a bad thing.
I suggest that you guys put the stock upper back on the car, get it aligned and then do the uppers.
I don't what to tell you about that BMR piece. I've never been impressed with their engineering and quality control.
