Default WILL 93-97 springs fit 98-02 f body

I just bought a set of 4 brand new in box Eibach drag launch springs for my 98 WS6, the only thing is when I ran the part number, it said they were for 93-02 f body's and I was wondering if they are the same springs and if they would work or not. Need to know asap please. thanks in advance.

I believe stock and lowering springs are different rates for the two different engines, but they are physically identical, so they'll bolt right up. I've only seen drag launch springs listed as 93-02, so in that case they will work for any 4th-Gen.

ok thanks guys, I looked on the Eibach website and they said that the part number I had was for a 93-97, and the part number for the 98-02 was different, but I will try them and see anyways. Thanks again.

I *think* the only difference would be the front spring rate for the LT1 compared to the LS1

used 98+ (slp takeoffs) in a 93. Should go the otherway too. The funny part is with the show tires on it looked 4x4ish. Raised the height 3/4 of an inch. Surprised you don't here of people running pre 98 stock springs to lower there cars just a bit.
