BMR K-member and A-arms on street car?
Are these items that necessary for a H/C street car on a Nitto that will see limited track visits? Is there a noticeable difference from the missing weight w/ them? It seems like a lot of money just to shed ~40lbs and get some added header clearance.

I felt the difference after the BMR K-member in the
way the nose lifts on launch and the steering effort.
It's also not nearly as solid feeling anymore on rough
pavement. It shakes. The A-arms aren't as big a weight
savings as the K-member is. Also the header clearance
depends a lot on the header. I had a Random Tech
high-flow catted Y meant for stock cars; after the
K swap this would not fit, because the "ears" on the
BMR piece stuck out -more- than the stocker in one
spot and that was where the cat was located. Up
front, more room; back by the K mount points, less
in spots. Something to check into though I haven't
seen anyone with headers complain, just my RT Y.

Hmmmmm....No offense, but I call BS. You cut a 1.81 60' on a prepped track and want us to believe you can yank tires on the street? I'm not saying its impossible, but thats a pretty bold statement. You got any pics? It would be awesome if you really could do it.

No need to get testy bro, I just don't think its a likely story. I think more likely what happens is your front brakes won't hold the power so when you foot brake it it pushes the front wheels and combined with the weight transfer it might look like you lifted them. Go do it and take a picture. If my car would do that I'd have that **** as my avatar, thats crazy!

I have had BMR K-member, upper and lower control arms with QA1s on my car for almost 2-years. No problems. This one is on Nittos with a 6-speed.

Take the pissing contest to PM's.
Now back to the original post.
The BMR works great on my car. Been on the car for nearly 2 years without issue.
IMO, the BMR lower control arm's are the only one's I'd use on actual full time street car. The other stuff is light.. a little too light for the occational pot hole
As for the K-member itself, I would recommend the BMR followed by the AJE. They both are re-enforce around the a-arm mounts, which doesn't make them the lightest, but it does make them more streetable.

Now to decide if a tq.arm will help on stock 10-bolt w/ Goodyear GS-D3s....
