SBC's for jacking points?
 

Just had BMR SFC's installed. Can you use them for points to jack up car?
They are the tubular weld-ons. Can they also be used with jack-stands?
I have directional tires and it would make rotating the tires alot easier myself.

They can, but I dont know if I'd trust a jack on a tubular surface. If the contact patch for the jack is big enough that it can't slip off then yes. I have BMR boxed SFC and I use them as a jack point when I swap tires on one side. Just did it last night at the track.

blkZ28spt > can you put the jack in the middle of the SFCs and do both tires at once??

That's how I did it. Car isn't as stable as it is when you jack up one corner though.

I have put 'jackstands' right on the tubalor sfc. I also have 'lifted' from the tubalor sfc. The first time you lift from the tubalor sfc you will notice the sfc first lift, then the car follows, Im assuming this is normal. I also got bmr tubalor sfc.

Heres my take on jacking a car up using the center of the SFC's. I have the SLP SFC's and tried doing this, as stated above the SFC bowed in the middle, when it contacted the floor pan, it started to rasie the car. Now mine are bolted in currently. Whenever something like that bows, somewhere something is going to give/loosen. Maybe even stretch them ever so slightly. Interestingly, I found several people on here that complained of noises from there SLP SFC's, yet when they checked everything, it was all tight. They also jacked the car up in the middle. I dont jack the car up that way, and have never, ever, had any noises of any sort. Now, if it were welded in, I cant think of any reasoon not too pick the car up that way. Or if the SFC contacted the floor pan more solid like. Just something to think about, metal is flexible.
