Spohn Tunnel mount v. BMR full length Torque Arm
I am trying to decide between the two for my daily driven/weekend track car LS1 Fbody. From what I have read, it boils down to this:
The Spohn will create more noise and vibrations which is undesirable for a street car. However it will hit the tires harder.
The BMR should be nearly as quiet as stock. However it won't perform as well.
Questions...
Is the above pretty close to accurate?
How much difference are we really talking about in noise inside the car?
How much difference are we really talking about in performance and 60' reduction?
The tires at the track will either be BFG drags or ET streets if that matters.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I recently put a Spohn (CM rod end version) on my SS but I haven't been to the track since the install.
I will say that the NVH in the car has gone up considerably. So much, in fact, that I am considering removing it because it's really bothering me since this is primarily a street car. For example, I can no longer leave change in my ashtray or cup holder because it rattles so bad.
If it 60 foots better I will probably leave it on tho

if I remember correctly SMOKIN01TA has the BMR full length on his car he until just recently held the fastest cam only record so it seems to work well for him, they also now have a relocation crossmember for the full length torque arms that move the torque arm of the tailshaft of the transmission and mount it to the transmission crossmember www.bmrfabrication.com hope this helps!!

I have the BMR TRAK PAK and love it. The guy that helped me set up my suspension said that he thought that the BMR torque arm is better than the Spohn one. The BMR torque arm is a little longer than the Spohn which is what you want. The BMR TRAK PAX has to be welded in where the Spohn one can be bolted in.
