Question Edelbrock Performer IAS Series shocks.

I'm looking for something to replace my current shocks. I don't really take my car to the track so the most I do is have a little fun on the street sometimes. I'm looking for something that performs better then stock but at the same time something reasonably priced. The Edelbrock shocks seem to fit the bill but I was wondering how do they compare with other shocks in their price range like the Bilstens?

Thanks

Is this from experience or speculation?

Default I like them

I've had them for more than a year now, and I have no complaints. They are much better than stock. I have no clue if they are as good as Bilsteins, cuz I've never had them. I went from deCarbons to Edelbrocks.

BTW- my front shocks came with an eibach spring. I think it's a very high spring rate, it's also ride height adjustable. It will make the front end feel stiff over bumby roads. It doesn't bother me. Good luck!

My info come directly from Sam Strano. He sells both shocks. He said that the bilstein is better, but both are better than stock. If you are looking at a close price between the two, then the Bilstein is the winner. I have modified Bilstines on my car and they are great, and reliable.
