Whichever one you think is prettiest is the one to get. Seriously.

Yep...I don't think you'll notice a difference between STBs

it seems like the size of the slp stb is the same as the others you find on ebay for cheaper, made from 1.25, .095". i guess im going to go with the ones on ebay for like $60 unless someone says otherwise. thanks guys!

Careful with ebay, all parts are not created equal. You get what you pay for.

believe me, thats my mentality too, but when the dimensions are the same and they say that they both are mild grade steel i see no difference on something as simple as a stb.

IMO, I think what makes the difference is weld quality, how they bent it, and how it is coated.

Will the welds break? Were the welds done correctly or were they slammed out by Joe smoe tryin to make a buck?

I am not sure how someone could bend it incorrectly, but I am sure there is way.

Is the coating worth a darn? will it flake in a year?

Personally, I would buy a STB from a known good source, like Spohn, Hotchkis, BMR, SLP, etc. And not try to save $40 on something I know very little about, and the durabilty of. Check the ones guys post about destroying his EBAY torque arm.

I don't believe the STB will ever see as much stress as a torque arm will.

For things like TA, panhard, LCAs, things that endure a lot of stress and are necessary components; you get what you pay for.

STB? As long as it fits, I say go with it.

the chances of u being able to notice a handling increase is slim with no matter what STB u buy, i have a ls1 motorsports 3pt, and it made the least dif of all the suspension mods ive done. purely looks. and looks damn good too =]

stb won't do much to the car... it's a nice looking piece, helps to lean onto when working in engine bay, but will not improve in any way the handling of the car.

I would have to disagree with ya. My car handle alot tighter around turns up in the front without flexing. And with my installed sub-frame connector's, my vert doesn't flex at all.
