Default Suspension Compatability Questions

Right now I have the Bilstein HDs and Sprint springs (2" drop) and the car rides like shiet!!! I ordered a pair of eibach pro-kit springs (1.1" drop) should the ride in my car be a lot better than it was before or worse??? I see that slp sells the eibachs and bilstein combo so I figured it should ride smoothly. The only major problem i have now is the car absolutely bangs really hard when going over a bump.

Thanks Guys

The SLP eibachs and SLP Bilsteins are not the same as a Pro Kit and HD's. The SLP stuff is built to their specifications and it not the same stuff.

If the car's banging really hard, it sounds like you aren't running enough rate for that drop to control the car's height. Do you know your current spring rates?

According to everything I've read a stock HD is not a good choice for a lowered spring, only good for stock springs. You can get them revalved to compensate.

Bilstien doesn't recommend them for lowering springs, but they will usually work reasonably well with some of the softer lowering springs out there.
