Default Bottoms out in the rear with prokit!! What is a good shock?? The bilstiens suck!!

I already have the new bilstiens!! And they do not help at all! It really hits hard and bottoms out on bumps!
does koni or someone else have something to make it a little smoother ride and to quit bottoming out?
Thanks

You can't blame a shock for a soft spring

Mitch is correct, I ran Bilstiens for a while with a Eibach Pro-kit, it bottomed out here and there and I wasnt real happy. But the bilstiens installed with the stock springs rode very nice.

I understand that! But what can i do with the eibach springs, shock wise?
Is there a better spring like the pro kit ones out there or can i just get a better shock?
Thanks

The Prokit rears are known for being too low and soft. You are not alone there. First thing I would try are these spacers:

One or two in each spring will raise the rear and increase the rate. They cost about 5 bucks and are quick and easy to install. If you don't like it, take them out. No big deal.

If you want to keep a soft rear rate, you can get a pair of used rear springs from a salvage yard or use your originals and do the hose mod. To go a bit lower, just trim them a little to get the ride height you want.

The bottom line to stay off the stops is either more ride height or more rate. You just need to find the right compromise.

BTW. Did you remove the aluminum spacers above the rear bumpstops if you car had them? Are your bumpstops the yellow ones like this?

How long have you had the springs on there? I ended up sending mine back to Eibach for a refund because of that.

I have a set of rear hypercoils I'll sell ya. They have a slightly stiffer spring rate and will give you another 1/2" ride height.
