Default Iron Blocks, nose weight and handeling issues?

I have a chance to get into an iron blocked car for what I think is a reasonable price and wanted to know if any of you here in handeling land have a built iron block car. Intent will be drag racing, auto-xing, maybe eventually a trip to Watkins Glen or VIR. Thoughts? The quicker the better too as this deal is going to close soon I think.

Is this an f-body? The lt1 was an iron block. You could probably run a set of lt1 front springs.
