Arrow Anyone ever broke a stock Torque Arm on the street? (PICS)

2 Months ago I blew my rearend, and snapped my Torque Arm (which in turn destroyed my driveshaft) on a street tire (Michelin Pilot Sport). I hit the 1-2 shift at WOT and basically grenaded everything at once.

The torque arm snapped at the top mount, and sheared the bottom one as well. The top piece where the bolts run down through the rearend wasn't even attached the the arm itself.

So who has done this before? I thought the factory Torque Arm was actually pretty strong? I have a few pics...'

Nah, the factory TQ has a lot of flex in it. A lot of people dont replace it because its one of the ore expensive suspension parts.
