Relocation brackets needed, or just LCA's???

Do I need to get the relocation brackets when installing the rear lower control arms??? or can I just bolt them in the factory ones???

You dont need relocation brackets. You can bolt the LCAs onto the stock mounting loacation. The brackets will change the geometry of the lcas and will give you a bit more traction. They work well as a combo.

Should I get the adjustable ones LCA's??? and also which brand would you suggest???

Super Sport Beast Jul 27, 2005 02:08 AM

I think that I'll go with UMI performace LCA'a, but still don't know if I need adjustable ones or maybe even double adjustable one ??? does it really matter that much, I heard that non-adjustable will work fin as well but I'm not sure. Please help guys ??????????

adj. lca's are not necesary on bascially stock car...

the LCA will allow more weight to be placed on the rear during launch enabling better traction.

they work good in pairs.

My car is a 2000 SS M6 with Spec stage 3 clutch, couple basic bolt ons, full exhaust with LT's, it's also lowered like about 1", also got the air bags, and I'm in process of ordering a 9" rearend, cuz I broke my stock 10 bolt couple days ago. last time I dynoed my car it pulled 334 rwhp with 336 tq. So what do I need to do with my suspension???
I got a spohn rear sway bar waiting to be installed, so what else do I need???

Super Sport Beast Jul 27, 2005 02:58 AM

Ok, I'm getting LCA's non-adjustable ones but with relocation brackets,
I got the sway bar with installation kit for 9" rearend, and the adjustable panhard bar, and I'll also get the Sub frame connectors and a torque arm if I'll have some money left after ordering the 9". or is it very important to install them "SFC's and the Torque Arm" while swapping the rearend???
I just want my rear suspension and the whole rearend to be done right, so I don't have to re-do it again.

It's allready installed on the vehicle, now my only problem is with SFC's and Torque arm would it be ok if I'll install them later or will I save some money by doing it together with 9" rearend swap and LCA's??? or maybe I don't need SFC's and aftermarket torque arm at all will the stock one be fine?????

I am pretty sure you can reuse the stock torque arm it would be good to replace it but its optional. I would definetly get SFC.

thanks for your help guys, That's what I'll do than, I'll just get the SFC's and if I'll have some extra cash than I'll get it too.
