Default I want to lower my but I want to drag race.....

I'm tired of the 4x4 look so I want to lower my car but don't want my 60' time to suck. I want the car to look good in street trim and in strip form. What springs would do this?

I have hotchkis springs, but for when I go to the track I am going to use V6 springs for the rear that I picked up from a local junk yard for $40.00. It only takes about 15 min to change the rear springs, and I will put my konis on full soft.

I was cutting low 1.6's with the prokit on my old 95 Z. I'm cutting 1.7's on DMS spring on my TA. And that was my first time at the track with this car.

I have the BMR springs with Bilstein shocks and cut low 1.6's on a stock motor with a 3500 converter and 3.42 gears. Car went 12.34@109 this was with a huge swaybar front and rear as well. This was on ET Streets

Most after market springs are still pretty soft in the rear, so no worries there. I like the prokits personally.

1ORANGEWS6, have you rolled your fender lips? Otherwise, lowering springs will only make that worse.

No I haven't rolled the fender. I've got a friend that has some BMR springs that he wants to trade me to do some work on his car. The thing is he doesn't know which set of spring he has on it. His car as 19"s and his torque arm rubs and tires will rub the fender wells and the fenders have been rolled to. His car looks killer but I really don't want my car that low. I'm going to take the springs out for him, is there a part number on the springs that I can reference?

I know plenty of people pulling good 60's with lowering springs and Hal's up front. Seems to be a good set up.
