Boxing LCAs & Panhard Rod
Question...
When I had my 92RS I heard a lot on those forums about boxing in the LCAs and PhR to strengthen them. I don't hear anything about that here. Everybody seems to gravitate towards new custom parts.
Is this a personal preference thing or did I miss the posts about cars erupting in flames and flying over cliffs because somebody boxed in their old parts?

I have boxed LCAs. I like them better, in the sense
of ruggedness, than most of the aftermarket ones.
I did not do the work myself, I bought them used.
As far as the Panhard, that's a lot of added metal
and you probably don't need -that- much added
stiffness. I went tubular there (used, again).

I have had both my LCA and panhard bar boxed. I have a buddy who is a master welder so it only cost me some donuts. Also put in 1LE bushings at the same time and it made a definate difference in the handling. The rear snaps when you turn, no more hesitation, Really helps in saloms.
